Design Roads Are Just as
Stylish as Spline Roads
Even though design roads are fundamentally
different from spline roads, they both use the
same set of styles.
After that, it's just a matter of picking points
within the model, each one becoming a PI for
the road. As you draw, you'll notice that curves
are created automatically at each PI (as long as
there is room for a solution) and that a default
design speed is automatically applied (see
Figure 2-2 ). The geometry of the curves and
other characteristics of the design are all
happening automatically as you click each
point.
