On the Profile Optimization panel you may
notice that there are three PVIs. PVI 2 was
created automatically because of an
intersection with an existing road.

11. In the Profile Constraints section, under
Anchored PVIs, uncheck the box next to PVI
2 so that the PVI is not anchored during
optimization.
By unchecking this box, you are enabling
InfraWorks to “break” this intersection,
allowing the new profile to pass above or
below the existing road.
12. Also under Profile Constraints, do the
