Using the Profile Optimization Panel
To begin a profile optimization, you will need to
open the Profile Optimization panel. This is
done by clicking the Analysis icon of the
Roadway Design toolbar and then clicking
Profile Optimization on the Analysis toolbar
(see
Figure 3-1
).

In the top portion of the Profile Optimization
dialog are some general settings (see
Figure
3-1
). They are described as follows:
Road
This is the name of the road as you
would see it in the Summary section of the
Road asset card.
