After a pause, the model and profile view
will update. This PVI is unnecessary since
the road profile is nearly straight in this
area.
11. Click the PVI at the low point near station
3+50 (0+100) and drag it to the left. Release
it when the tooltip reads an approximate
station of 3+10 (0+094.50) and elevation of
795.50 (242.50).
As you drag the PVI in the Profile View
panel, notice how the graphics change in the
model view. When you release it, the road
will rebuild, and now the inlets are flush
with the road surface. Also notice that the
low point of the curve is located between the
inlets (see Figure 2-34 ).
