In addition to graphically changing the profile
there are a number of right-click context menu
commands that are useful. Two context menus
are available; one appears when you have
selected a PVI, and the other appears when you
have not.
Right-Click Menu: PVI Not Selected If
you right-click in the Profile View panel
without first clicking a PVI, the shortcut
menu will offer the following commands:
Add PVI Creates a new PVI in the
location you right-clicked.
Recreate Profile Recalculates the
placement and geometry of PVIs based
on the location of the road in relation to
the terrain. This will “reset” the profile
and overwrite any manual edits you have
made.
Properties Opens the properties panel
for the road you have selected.
Right-Click Menu: PVI Selected If you
right-click in the Profile View panel after
clicking a PVI, the shortcut menu will offer
the following commands:
Show In Canvas Zooms in to the
location of the PVI in model view.
