The high pressure storage tanks are located near the rear of the vehicle, in
approximately the same location as a conventional fuel tank would occupy. The
location is beneath the rear seats in the passenger cabin.
Hydrogen in the FCEV (Figure 4.39) is stored in canisters at 5,000 psi or
higher in order to approximate the range available from a conventional vehicle. By
