Colors
Perhaps just as important as typography, color adds information and sets
expectations for the tone and mood of a page. he color property takes a color
value or the inherit keyword and sets an element's foreground color. his
includes the color of any text, the color of any list bullets, and the color of any
border the element may have, provided it is not otherwise set by a border or
border-color property.
Color values may be speciied in any of ive formats: color names, RGB
values, RGB percentages, and short and long hexadecimal values. Color names
are the easiest and include most of the colors in the basic crayon box:
red
orange
yellow
green
blue
teal
aqua
fuchsia
lime
maroon
navy
olive
purple
black
gray
silver
white
hese 17 colors are from the CSS2.1 speciication. he CSS3 speciication
expanded the number of names to 140 colors, matching the set of color names
