In-Depth Information
Now, straightaway we should spot a bit of a problem. Due to the image sampling that
has been applied to our mask, we are getting some very bright fringing, or halo-ing,
along the edges of some of the masked geometry, especially the chrome barriers
and display cases closest to the camera. To fix this, let's perform the following steps:
1. Come over to the
Effects & Presets
tab, and in the search field, start to type
the word
simple
.
2. In the search results area just below, we should now see the
32-bit Simple
Choker
effect. Grab this and drop it onto the reflection layer, setting the
Choke Matte
value to
1.6
.
3. Finally, we can expand the reflection layer's
Transform
controls, and in
there, set the
Opacity
level to
12%
.
