Exercise - finishing off the scene
Now that you have a good idea of the process used to create new scene views from
which we can render, your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to set up the
rest of the views needed, take renders from them, and again review the composition-
al elements that are at work. As always feel free to experiment with your own vari-
ations on the views we have suggested here, applying different compositional rules
so as to get a different look and feel.
Shots that still need to be created are as follows:
High shot : In this shot, create a balanced alternative view of the scene by
making use of an elevated camera position. Use a suggested focal length of
around 40mm , naming the scene tab High Shot as 40mm and remembering
to click on the Update button on the Scene manager toolbar.
Low shot : In this shot, create a balanced view of the scene as it is perhaps
the trickiest of all to pull off given the nature of the environment that we are
working with. Still, keeping in mind the fact that we are able to knock out
reasonably fast test renders, a measure of experimentation should be a part
