1. With the
Ceiling
material still selected, scroll down to the
Maps
rollout and
click on the map button for the
Bump
option.
2. In the V-Ray texture editor, click on the map type dropdown under the
Pre-
view
button and select
TexSpeckle
from the list.
3. In the
Size
parameter, found in the right-hand column of the map's controls,
set the value to
4
and click on
Ok
.
With the walls and ceiling looking good, let's move on and work with yet another
scene element. Now, although our doorway isn't currently seen in the rendered frame
nor indeed are the doors even present in the scene at this moment in time, they will
at some point be very clearly seen, and because the material we want to apply is a
little bit more complex than those created so far, now seems like as good a time as
any to tackle it.
