2. We then need to left-click and release the mouse button somewhere around
the midpoint of the building geometry in the scene.
3. Next, move the mouse straight up in the view (along the blue axis), and then
left-click a second time to both create and orient the Dome light in the scene,
hopefully creating something that appears similar to the following screenshot:
If we were to render now (given the exposure settings that we are currently working
with in the scene), this default Dome light setup would give us very dim and neutral-
looking lighting. To remedy this, let's perform the following steps:
1. Right-click on the Dome light, and from the V-Ray for Sketchup flyout found
at the bottom of the menu, choose the Edit light option.
2. In the V-Ray light editor dialogue box, set the Domes Intensity multiplier to
a value of 17 .
3. Then click on the color swatch, and set the HSV options to H 210, S 125, and
V 245.
These settings should produce illumination levels and coloration similar to those that
would be produced by the physically accurate V-Ray Sky while using the current ex-
posure options.
