In-Depth Information
Turbidity, which affects both the Sun and Sky elements in a scene, is a control that
simulates the effects of particulate matter, generally dust in our atmosphere. Lower
Turbidity values denote a clearer sky, with the minimum value of 2 denoting an al-
most dust-free atmosphere. Interestingly, for us, this has the added effect of giving
us much bluer skies. The opposite of course is also true in that higher values de-
note an increase in particulate matter with the maximum value of 20 creating a dust
filled sky with Sun and Sky colors edging toward the orange and red part of the color
spectrum.
