In-Depth Information
use an algorithm to find close proximity intersections of routes in space and
time and highlight them visually.
Figure 15-17: You can use computational analytics to find and highlight
patterns of behavior, like the GeoTime meeting finder here, which looks for
close proximity encounters in space and time.
Summary
Dynamic graphs represent a unique and challenging aspect of the Big Data
problem. The addition of time adds an order of magnitude to the data
needing representation. This chapter covered strategies for seeing and
making sense of the evolution of the world of entities and relationships
represented by graph structure. It also covered strategies and tools for
visualizationandanalysisoftransactionpatternsbetweenentitiesthatshare
a relationship, in both abstract and spatial contexts.
