One of the fundamental differences when working with large graph
databases as opposed to many of the graphs shown previously in this topic
is that frequently the goal is to display graph properties of only a relatively
smallsubgraphofinterest.Inthatrespect,graphdatabasesprovideacritical
function, which is a method of efficiently querying for the information of
interest when the graph is too large to fit in memory.
