Tip
Sometimes it can be tricky to track a particular node in a dense graph.
You can modify the label, for example, with a *; change the node shape
(for example, to a star); or change the node color (for example, to bright
yellow). Alternately, put a sticky note on the computer screen with an
arrow to temporarily mark the specific node of interest.
Deleting
Sometimes you have situations in which you want to remove one node.
An ego-network is a graph of all the neighbors of one node and all their
connections. Applying an ego-network analysis to the extension cord from
the market basket analysis reveals a network shown in Figure 6-11 .
