2. Add these four rasters together, as before, to make Final_Sites_version2, and examine the
results. Open the attribute table and sort descending according to Value. The most desirable
sites should appear at the top. The map looks very different from the ones you made previously,
which showed only a few permissible sites. Select the records with Value 40 to see the best
sites, under these new criteria. Then look at the Value 37 sites. (Of course, you would have to
run Region Group to get the individual sites.)
As a further demonstration of flexibility, you could make a version3 of the final sites in which
the land use issue was twice as important as the soils or sewers issue, so you could weight
that variable. Your function might look like this:
