Figure 7.7 The diagrams show how densely different parts of the triangle were
populated. Three peaks can be seen along the major two-party axis - each of
almost a quarter of a million votes. Then a peak of 180 000 votes is next highest,
found in Conservative territory by the Labour margin. The top diagram shows the
view, looking down on the surface, from just above the Liberal apex.
