Figure 4.17 The map contains the (occasionally obscured) full names of con-
stituencies. It shows a very different picture to the cartogram. England is covered
by the blues, greens and purples that spell out a Conservative landslide, while the
yellow and lime greens of Scotland and Wales show us Liberal country. The red
of the Labour party is relegated to a few cities and the Welsh Valleys.
