Market that offers amazingly inexpensive sourdough pizzas
(£4.50-7) - there are just six options, all wood-fired and
made with the finest ingredients - washed down with

little family-run Thai place may not be as trendy as
some of the Brixton Village hot spots, but it serves
consistently excellent, flavoursome and authentic food
- curries, noodle salads and seafood are all superb -

An arty little café/shop/gallery, handy for the market -
where you will also find plenty of good street food -
serving gourmet sandwiches and snacks, with lots of
gluten-free options, along with Monmouth coffee and
home-made cakes. Mon-Wed 10am-6pm, Thurs-Sun
9am-6pm.

Old Brewery Pepys Building, The Old Royal Naval College,

warm, historic dining room, home to the Meantime
microbrewery, serves bar snacks and Modern British
gastropub lunches, before transforming with aplomb into a

converted church with a courtyard, The Gate serves excellent

café, in a gorgeous Georgian mansion in Richmond Park,
has one of the best views in London, looking west over the
Thames valley, and nice outdoor seating - there are some
hot dishes, plus sandwiches and cakes. Daily 9am-5.30pm
