This list is not authoritative but merely a collated snapshot of values seen “in the
wild.”
There may be meaningful MIME type and file extension combinations that are not
listed here.
This information is collated from a variety of sources on the Internet and also from
some working server config files.
The Helper column indicates common default behavior.
Users can override these settings in their browsers if they want to.
When configuring servers, a comma-separated list of file types is associated with a
single entry for each MIME type.
