Scaling the Input Source
The scaling operation makes the image the correct size for the target output. If you have
been processing video for output on broadcast TV or DVD, this stage may not be relevant,
but it is important for getting your Web video into the right size and shape.
Some applications allow the scaling to take place in the client. If you decide to use
that approach then this step is not necessary. Better results are obtainable by applying
