If you want to encode to Real Networks video format from within a Mac OS-based
QuickTime-enabled application, install the Real Exporter plug-in. Likewise, adding
Telestream's Flip4Mac will allow you to output Windows Media files directly.

If all you need is full-screen mode, there are alternative solutions that don't
require a QuickTime Pro license. The application that plays the movie
through QuickTime can measure the screen size and draw a movie rectan-
gle to just fill it.

Apple Compressor
The Compressor utility is shipped with DVD Studio Pro and Final Cut Pro for creating
MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (Part 2) compressed files. The user interface is constructed around
a main window, as shown in Figure 30-9.
