The Final Result
In Figure 14-12 you can see something of the structure of the outgoing bit stream as it looks
when displayed on a Tektronix analyzer. This is an example fragment of an H.264 bit
stream at the start of the session.
The bit patterns are shown in the columns on the left and you can see clearly that
some bit-stream fragments are longer than others. These of course have to be packed into
bytes so they can be manipulated inside a computer more conveniently.
