vide a basic understanding of how a frame of moving video is compressed, which is not
too difficult to understand.
MPEG-2 builds on MPEG-1 and adds some useful features. MPEG-4 part 2 provides
some additional tools, and the latest codec (H.264) offers major improvements in efficiency
and performance.
