Figure 6-22 shows the CIE color space, with the triangle imposed on it representing
the normal color gamut displayed by a TV set. HDR work will allow us to display the
entire range of colors. This is the gamut that Table 6-7 described.

sult the Apple developer Web site for details of the HDR support in Mac OS.

The implication for compressionists is that, if HDR gets implemented as a digital-
imaging format on a wider basis, it will start to be used for moving images and we shall have
