In-Depth Information
44. The link Reporting Services Integration opens a window where Report Server Web
Service URL and Authentication Mode can be set.
45. The Report Server Web Service URL should be the URL that has been configured with
Web Service URL navigational tab of Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
46. The next screen is important for connection security between SharePoint Server and
Reporting Services. For best practice implementation, the Trusted Authentication
must be used.
The Trusted account impersonates connected SharePoint users and
will be used for accessing the Report Server, which is used generally in
form authentication without Active Directory or Kerberos authentication.
47. Finally, set the Server Defaults under Reporting Services to change default server
settings for Reporting Services. Some of the elements can be changed, such as
Number of Snapshots, Ad-Hoc Reporting, and Client-Side Printing.
Now, the Reporting Services integration is complete and SharePoint is fully integrated with
Reporting Services.
