-The antitumor efect is believed
to be mainly due to its ability
to compete with estrogen for
binding sites in the cancer,
blocking the growth-stimulating
efects of estrogen in the tumor
Advanced/Metastatic:
Postmenopausal women with
estrogen-receptor positive or
unknown metastatic breast cancer
60 mg once
