there's live music, and happy hour runs from 3pm to 5:30pm.

Part-owner Randy Wayne White once lived on the marina here, and he named this scenic
wharf eatery after his beloved mystery-novel protagonist, marine biologist Doc Ford. The
wood-sided building with spacious decks, big windows and multiple bars emphasizes
Floribbean flavors and a Latin American spice rack. It's on the mainland at the base of the
causeway bridge.

The breezy upstairs deck is a long-standing favorite for a reliable sunset meal with gulf
views; go for either grilled seafood or sticky-sweet barbecue. An older crowd creates a
friendly vibe in this unpretentious local watering hole, which has live music and gets row-
dier later in the evening.
Fresh Catch Bistro SEAFOOD
