mostly free events including street fairs, antique-car shows, music and the best school-

Ave near the airport: try the popular Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites
( www.hilton.com ).
For dining, the historic downtown has plenty of attractive choices. The upscale Bell
Tower Shops, at S Cleveland Ave and Cypress Lake Dr, also has several.

liable stay. The 67 rooms have powder-blue comforters, wall murals, a mix of wood floors
and carpets, and snazzy glass-door showers. The kicker is the small rooftop pool and bar,
with panoramic views of the scenic riverfront. Valet parking costs $14.
