MYMAGIC+
MyMagic+ is Disney's three-fold system designed to help guests both plan and navigate
their Disney vacation. It includes My Disney Experience, FastPass+ and MagicBands.
My Disney Experience Accessible through the Walt Disney World website
( www.disneyworld.disney.go.com ) and the free app, My Disney Experience allows guests
to create itineraries for visits to WDW. Once you create an account, you can link family
and friends, view all your room and ticket reservations, make dining reservations, reserve
FastPass+ selections, peruse current character spots and parade times, view wait times
and more.
FastPass+ An electronic system that allows theme-park guests to reserve access to
FastPass+ lines for rides, character spots, movies and other attractions either through
My Disney Experience or at kiosks inside the theme parks. You reserve a one-hour win-
dow, arrive at the attraction within that window, scan your ticket at the FastPass+ line and
va-voom, you zip right onto the ride with minimal wait. Though you can reserve only three
attractions per day in advance, once you have used all three of your FastPass+ reserva-
tions for the day, you can reserve more same-day attractions if there are reservations
available. Note that a FastPass+ for a show does not guarantee a specific seat.
MagicBand This rubber-like wristband electronically stores all your dining, entertain-
ment and FastPass+ reservations, functions as a theme-park ticket and, if you are staying
at a Disney hotel, serves as a room key and a room charge at hotels, restaurants and
stores throughout WDW. MagicBands will be sent to Disney hotel guests in advance of
their visit, or will be waiting upon arrival. If you're staying at an off-site hotel, you can pur-
chase a MagicBand for $13; if you don't have a MagicBand, your FastPass+ reservations
will be stored in your paper ticket.
