cious coffee shop. Common areas feature gorgeous period detailing and rooms retain a hint
of 1930s romance with their polished wooden floors, lazy ceiling fans and cane furniture.

Larry and Ellen have decorated their 1907 Queen Anne house with heavy drapes, silk-print
bedspreads and canopied two- and four-poster beds in homage to the Victorian era from
which the house dates. Breakfast is a similarly studied three-course affair with fresh-
cooked eggs served on fine china plates and orange juice in crystal glasses.

Beach Dr along the waterfront is a warm, friendly scene lined with attractive midrange res-
