Popular with skydivers, this sweet B&B is run by a lovely English couple, who'd possibly
like to redefine the acronym to read 'Best & British.' Six cosy rooms in the c 1883 guest-
house feature comforting echoes of Mother England. Of course, a full English breakfast is
fried up daily!

This centrally located boutique hotel was fully renovated in 2013 and features the trendiest
rooms in DeLand, with whirlpool baths and cozy sitting areas. The on-site bar and restaur-
ant is a nice bonus, from which noise doesn't appear to be an issue.
Buttercup Bakery BAKERY

Inside this sunny yellow cottage the pastry cases are stacked high with luscious sweets:
lemon-curd bars, white-chocolate-apricot bars, chocolate-chip bread pudding and more. It
also serves organic coffee, tea and salad.

It's hard not to enjoy a buffet when it is done well, with plenty of selections kept clean,
fresh and warm. Cook's does just that. Roast meats, veggies, soups and salads from the
buffet are complemented by a modest selection of à la carte deli sandwiches on freshly
baked breads. Cheap and cheerful. Grandma will love it!
