The oldest city's newest secret, no longer! Flavored with the spices of Mexico and the
Southwest this cozy, unpretentious joint is favored by locals for its cheap and tasty tacos,
burgers and comfort foods. We couldn't go past the chili mac bowl. There's a good selec-
tion of cold beer, too!

The friendly staff at this family-owned bakery pour frosting on your cinnamon rolls to
your individual specifications. Strudels, panini and fat, wedge-shaped scones are all hits,
as are the noteworthy hot breakfasts. Expect major lines at noon, although it's always busy.

why not have the gluten-free chocolate marble torte with drunken banana for dessert? One
to turn even the most die-hard carnivores on to food that's good for the soul and the planet.

lobster corn dog…?
