BUS
Disney Buses BUS
( www.disneyworld.disney.go.com ; Walt Disney World)
Everything at Disney is accessible by a free bus (city-bus style) from other areas, but not
all destinations are directly connected. Buses from Downtown Disney, for example, do not
connect directly to any theme parks.
MONORAIL
Disney Monorail MONORAIL
( www.disneyworld.disney.go.com ; Walt Disney World)
Three separate monorail routes service select locations within Walt Disney World. The Re-
sort Monorail loops between the Transportation & Ticket Center, Disney's Polynesian Re-
sort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Magic Kingdom and Disney's Contemporary Re-
sort. A second monorail route connects the Transportation & Ticket Center directly to
Magic Kingdom; and a third route connects the Transportation & Ticket Center directly
to Epcot.
UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT
Pedestrian-friendly Universal Orlando Resort offers fantastic rides, excellent children's at-
tractions and entertaining shows. It's comparable to Walt Disney World, but Universal does
everything just a bit smarter, funnier, and more smoothly, as well as being smaller and
easier to navigate. Instead of the seven dwarfs, there's The Simpsons . Instead of Donald
Duck and Mickey Mouse, there's Spider-Man. Universal offers pure, unabashed,
adrenaline-pumped full-speed-ahead fun for the entire family. It's got spunk; it's got spirit;
it's got attitude.
The Universal Orlando Resort consists of two theme parks - Islands of Adventure, with
the bulk of the thrill rides, and Universal Studios, with movie-based attractions and shows;
one entertainment and dining district (CityWalk); and four resort hotels. Small wooden
shuttle boats and pleasant walking paths connect the entire resort, and Universal Orlando
Resort's Express Pass system can almost elminate the stresses of long lines and the need
for military-style plans of attack.
