FINDING NEMO - THE MUSICAL
Finding Nemo: the Musical PERFORMING ARTS
( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; www.disneyworld.disney.go.com ; Animal Kingdom; theme park admission re-
quired; several shows daily; ; Disney)
Arguably the best show at Walt Disney World and a favorite of both kids and adults, this
sophisticated musical theater performance features massive and elaborate puppets on
stage and down the aisles, incredible set design and fantastic acting.
The music was composed by Robert Lopez and Kirsten Anderson-Lopez, who also
wrote Frozen's Academy Award-winning Let It Go,and the spectacular puppets were cre-
ated by Michael Curry, the creative and artistic force behind the the puppets in Broad-
way's The Lion King.
Shopping
While there are endless stores throughout Walt Disney World, don't expect to find the
same things in all the parks and resorts. Most stores are thematically oriented, so after the
Star Wars ride you'll find lots of Star Wars stuff; after the Winnie the Pooh ride you'll find
lots of Winnie the Pooh stuff; and after the Indiana Jones ride you'll find, well, an Indiana
Jones fedora, of course. Unless you're looking for something related to a specific story,
movie or character, the fun of shopping at Walt Disney World is in the browsing.
For questions about shopping at Disney, including details on returning and exchanging
items purchased at the parks or checking the status of something you had sent to your
home, call Disney Parks Merchandise Guest Services (877-560-6477).
Theme Parks
For an international twist to your Disney souvenir, walk around the world at Epcot. Buy a
belly-dancer kit in Morocco, tartan shawls and Mickey Mouse shortbread cookies in the
UK, and a pink bejeweled wine stopper in France. Japan has a store filled with Hello Kitty
items, and in Germany you can buy Steiff animals and make your own dolls.
