If you don't
have a reservation and the line is long, try the bar - many places have great bars with lim-
ited menus. Remember that restaurants in the theme parks require theme park admission,
but resort hotel restaurants do not.
In addition to plain old eating, Disney offers character meals, three dinner shows and
specialty dining. Possibilities include a private safari followed by an Africa dinner; lunch
with a Disney 'imagineer'; and dinner in Cinderella's Castle. See website for details.

Magic Kingdom
Eating at Magic Kingdom is less about great food than theming, festive environs and char-
acter dining opportunities. You certainly won't starve, as there are snacks, fast-food eater-
ies and table-service restaurants at every turn, but there's little here worth seeking out. If
you're going to be at the park and want a sit-down meal, make a reservation at one of Dis-
ney's Magic Kingdom Resorts - Disney's Polynesian, Disney's Contemporary, Disney's
Grand Floridian or Disney's Wilderness Lodge - they're any easy hop on the monorail or
by boat from Magic Kingdom.
