You'll find every conceivable motel and hotel chain in every nook and cranny of greater
Orlando, plenty of cheap independent motels, particularly along Hwy 192 east of I-4, and a
dizzying number of resorts ranging from family-friendly mayhem to a lakeside nudist
hideaway. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttles to the theme parks, but always ask
about details as many require advance reservations, fill up easily and only run a couple of
times a day. They can be miserably inconvenient. Walt Disney World and Universal Or-
lando both offer on-site resort hotels with all kinds of enticing perks.
Rack rates vary dramatically according to demand, change within the course of a week
