Trendy Thornton Park borders Lake Eola to the east. Though it's only a few blocks, you'll
find several good restaurants, a handful of neighborhood bars, and a weekend energy of
20-somethings and young families.

tion, race relations and citrus production, with a re-created pioneer home and 1927

Lake Eola Park PARK

Pretty and shaded, this little city park sits between downtown Orlando and Thornton Park.
A paved sidewalk circles the water; there's a waterfront playground; and you can rent swan
paddleboats (per 30 minutes $15). On Saturday mornings, the park is home to the Orlando
Farmers Market .
Wells' Built Museum of African American History & Culture MUSEUM

Dr Wells, one of Orlando's first African American doctors, came to Orlando in 1917. In
