Hardly quiet, this 430-acre county park rings with the squeals of kids (and grown-ups) en-
joying all kinds of wet 'n' wild fun. There's
Splash Adventure
(per person $5), a water
playground with a shallow pool and fountains spraying every which way. Then there's the
super-cool cable water-ski system. Using an innovative cabling system suspended from
towers surrounding a half-mile course, water-skiers (and wake-boarders) are pulled over a
wake-free watercourse. For lower-octane adventures, the park has fishing, kayak rental,
hiking and a mountain-bike trails.
