In-Depth Information
Laser Wolf
BAR
(
www.laserwolf.com
;
901 Progresso Dr, Suite 101)
We don't want to call Laser Wolf sophisticated, but its extensive booze menu and pop-art
styling definitely attracts Fort Lauderdale's cerebral set. But they're a cerebral set that
loves
to party, so if this wolf is sophisticated, it knows how to let its hair down. To run
with the pack, head 2 miles west along Sunrise Blvd before turning left onto NE 4th Ave,
which merges with Progresso Dr.
Blue Martini

; 2432 E Sunrise Blvd, Ste 1008; cov-
er $10; 2pm-2am)
Live music, hot staff and high-energy bands. The half-price happy hour is the best in town.
Wreck Bar
BAR
954-524-5551; 1140 Seabreeze Blvd;
5:30-11:30pm)
After one too many cocktails you might wonder whether you're seeing things as you look
through the Wreck Bar's 'portholes' to see MeduSirena, Fort Lauderdale's fire-eating mer-
maid, start her Friday and Saturday shows. Advice: keep drinking and enjoy this piece of
priceless Florida kitsch. The show begins at 6:30pm, but you'll want to get there early for a
seat.
Lulu's Bait Shack
BAR
Lures 'em in with buckets of beer, bowls of mussels and fishbowl drinks at the ocean's
edge.
