Seven Seas is a genuine Miami neighborhood dive, decorated on the inside like a nautical
theme park and filled with University of Miami students, Cuban workers, gays, straights,
lesbians and folks from around the way. Come for the best karaoke in Miami on Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday - there's plenty of Spanish-language music, which adds Latin
spice.

All in a name, right? Probably the best watering hole in the Gables, The Bar is just what
the title says (which is unusual in this neighborhood of extravagant embellishment). If
you're in the 'hood on Friday, come here for happy hour (5pm to 8pm), when young
Gables professionals take their ties off and let loose long into the night.
