Perch on some prime Collins people-watching real estate and get crunk on the hip-hop and
zebra-stripe theme they've got going. You'd think this would be a start-the-night-out sort
of place, but the setting's so fly, folks end up stationary, sipping on martinis until they
stumble into their rooms.
Dewey's Tavern

Dewey's is an art-deco dive (really; the exterior is a little gem of the genre) and it's as un-
pretentious as the best sordid watering holes get. Come here to get wasted and menace the
crowds seeking serenity on quiet Alton Rd (just kidding - behave yourself!).

Cuba meets Coyote Ugly Saloon in this tourist hot spot, where a staff of gorgeous and/or
ripped bodies (take your pick) dances, gyrates and puts some serious booty on the floor. Of
course, you're here for anthropological reasons: to study the nuances of Latin dance. Not
to watch the bartender do that thing Shakira does with her butt.

Skybar is one of those SoBe spots that is so impossibly full of beautiful people you won-
der if you've walked into a dream - and it's not just the clientele who are gorgeous. The
setting: the Moroccan garden of delights that is the courtyard of the Shore Club hotel.
Chill alfresco in a sultan's pleasure garden under enormous, wrought-iron lanterns, gaze at
the patricians lounging around the pool, or try (and fail, if you're an unlisted travel writer)
to get into the all-crimson, all-A-list Red Room.
