Come to the foot of the Pensacola Bay Bridge for a bounty of tourist information, know-
ledgeable staff and a free internet kiosk.

On the right as soon as you enter Pensacola Beach; this is a small place with some useful
maps and brochures about goings-on, road closures (due to storms) and anything else
beach oriented.

Getting There & Around
Pensacola Regional Airport ( GOOGLE MAP ; 850-436-5000; www.flypensacola.com ; 2430
Airport Blvd) is served by most major US airlines. Primary direct connections outside Flor-
ida include Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Houston. It's 4 miles northeast of downtown off
9th Ave on Airport Blvd. A taxi costs about $20 to downtown and $35 to the beach. Try
Yellow Cab ( 850-433-3333; www.yellowcabpensacola.com ) .
The Greyhound station ( GOOGLE MAP ; 850-476-4800; www.greyhound.com ; 505 W
Burgess Rd) is located north of the downtown area. Escambia County Transit (ECAT;
850-595-3228; www.goecat.com ; rides $1.75) has a limited bus service around Pensacola. A
free trolley connects downtown Pensacola and the beach between Memorial Day weekend
and the end of September.
I-10 is the major east-west thoroughfare used by buses, and many pass down Palafox
St.
