elegant beachfront hotel certainly challenges that reputation. The 162 spacious rooms are

sleek grown-up crowd swans around the lobby and sips cocktails by the pool.

S Palafox St has scads of bars and cafes with outdoor seating. Many of Pensacola's more
popular restaurants have long waits, even on weeknights - go early, or plan to hang out at
the bar for an hour or so. Try to make reservations if you can.
