popular with RV-ers, though you'll see the odd tent or two. There are fire pits, a bathhouse
and a small camp store. Park entrance fees to Gulf Islands National Seashore must be paid
separately.

Across from the beach, this sherbet-colored motel is a lively, cheery place thanks to its
popular bar and grill (ask for a quiet room near the parking lot). Compact quarters are
spick and span with tiled floors and brightly painted walls. Online specials offer even bet-
ter value.

This fresh, recently renovated beachfront hotel has cool, inviting rooms with ultra-comfy
beds, flat-screen TVs and great showers. Oceanfront rooms have spacious balconies over-

are available, and the pool is killer. Friendly, obliging staff help seal the deal. Excellent
value.
