English-speakers living in Barcelona, and there's also the free monthly Barcelona Connect

classified ads. You'll find these and other free mags in hotels, hostels, bars and other outlets;
the online versions are pretty comprehensive too. For the style scene look in newsagents for

Admission charges
Admission charges for city attractions vary between €3 and €18, though most museums and
galleries cost around €6 or €7. Many offer free admission on the first or last Sunday of every
month, and most museums are free on the saints' days of February 12, April 23 and Septem-
ber 24, plus May 18 (international museum day). There's usually a reduction or free entrance
if you show a student, youth or senior citizen card. Several discount cards are also available,
that give heavily reduced admission to Barcelona's museums and galleries - worth consider-
ing if you're planning to see everything that the city has to offer.
