is a fantastically stocked arts and humanities treasure-trove, with books piled high in every
nook and cranny. There's a big English-language section (and other European languages
too), while other La Central outlets are found in MACBA (contemporary art museum) and
MUHBA (Barcelona History Museum). Mon-Fri 9.30am-9pm, Sat 10am-9pm.

map . This has been one of Barcelona's favourite bookshops for years, though probably just
as much for its café-restaurant, which is a good place to unwind. Other speciality Laie arts
outlets are found in galleries like Caixa Forum, CCCB, La Pedrera, Museu Picasso and the
