Irish-
owned bar and bistro that's carved a real niche as a welcoming neighbourhood hangout. De-
cor, they say, is that of a “millionaire's drawing room”, with its sofas, cushions and antique
chandeliers. Get there early for the famously relaxed “recovery” brunch (10am-4pm), or
there's dinner (6.30-11.30pm) and cocktails every night to a funky soundtrack.

Historically a
pipe-smoker's private club, this old-fashioned members' bar is a wood-panelled, jazzy, late-
night kind of place, with - rare for Barcelona - a pool table. It's on the secretive side - ring
the bell for admission and make your way up the stairs - but visitors are welcome.

with its high ceilings, big windows and upmarket feel. It's a mixed, chilled place to meet up,
grab a
copa
and move on.
