ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: FIGUERES
By train Renfe trains ( renfe.com ) depart hourly from Barcelona Sants and Pg. de Gràcia
and take up to 2hr to reach Figueres, depending on the service - for a day-trip, it's best to
catch a train before 10am from Barcelona. Services on the new high-speed AVE line are sig-
nificantly faster (53min), but tickets are much pricier than standard fares. Figueres is just
30-40min by Renfe train from Girona. Arriving at the train station, you reach the centre of
town by following the “Museu Dalí” signs (10min).
