Wementionedthatthepixelvalueslookedwrongwhenwelookedattheoutputfrom
ST_SummaryStats() . This same issue continued in the output from subsequent
statisticsfunctions.Weneedtolookatthe PRISM raster'smetadataavailableat ht-
tp://www.prism.oregonstate.edu/docs/meta/temp_realtime_monthly.htm .
After looking at the metadata, it appears that the PRISM raster values have been
scaledby 100 toenabletheuseofanintegerinsteadofafloating-pointpixeltype.
WealsofindthatthevaluesareindegreeCelsius.Inthenextrecipe,wewillrecom-
pute all the pixel values to their true values with a map algebra operation.
